Paul Krugman is famous for saying he can’t bring himself to read any economics written in prose and published prior to the 1970s — a fact which Krugman continually verifies via his laughably botched accounts of the economics of important economists from the past.

I’d wager Krugman is acting out here in part to due to this take down from Stephen Williamson.
