A NEW research tool -- Google Scholar. Read about it here.

When you type in "Hayek" you get this. First three entries:

[CITATION] The Use of Knowledge in Society - Web Search FA Hayek, A Friedrich - Cited by 841 American Economic Review, 1945

Severe hypercholesterolemia and atherosclerosis in apolipoprotein E-deficient mice created by AS Plump, JD Smith, T Hayek, K Aalto-Setala, A - Cited by 432 ... in ES cells. Plump AS, Smith JD, Hayek T, Aalto-Setala K, Walsh A, Verstuyft JG, Rubin EM, Breslow JL. Laboratory of Biochemical ... Cell, 1992 - ncbi.nlm.nih.gov - ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

[CITATION] The Constitution of Liberty - Web Search FA Hayek - Cited by 367 Gateaway edition, Chicago, 1960

An ordinary "Hayek" search on Google gives you this, i.e. lots of pictures of Salma Hayek -- and a link to the Hayek Scholars Page. Yes we love Salma, and it's great getting all that Hayek traffic. But this is a labor saving tool -- which will have added power once the un-copyrighted portion of the Stanford library is included in the Google database.

One thing "scholar" searchers will miss out on -- the Salma vs. Friedrich score card. Posted by Greg Ransom | TrackBack
