KRIPKE AND QUINE. Yes, something has gone wrong in philosophy. No, I don't think Jerry Fodor will ever be the one who makes sense of what has gone wrong (I'm convinced Fodor never understood Wittgenstein). But he is right to side with Quine over Kripke on this one. (via
