DOING GOOD THINGS for the American people -- would a President risk such a thing? If Bush cares to do that, here are some things worth doing. One fine-tuning -- U.S. taxpayers should be forced to write a personal check or send in cash to the federal government every month -- balancing that burden every month right next to the morgage, utilities, groceries and the rest. No federal withholding -- but a gigantic financial burden coming straight out of everybody's back pocket every freaking month.
