A PANEL OF ECONOMISTS has identified massive Federal spending far beyond the willingness of the people to pay taxes as Americas No.1 economic issue. Also this -- these economists see no end in sight for the U.S. housing bubble. The housing market seems to have peaked here in Orange County, but things are not yet so bad that you can say we've identified the first dead canary.
