THE ROOMBA 4100 robotic vacuum -- my wife and I just bought the red one. We both work (in fact we both work two jobs). We switch off taking care of the kids and the house (i.e. no nannies and no maids). So the Roomba seemed like a no brainer. Right now it's cleaning up my daughters room. Last night it did the kitchen and the family room. Some great things about it -- it cleans under the beds, under the couches, and under the kitchen table (I don't always get under there on my own). And this morning I wasn't stepping on all the little crums and food thingies in the kitchen / family room (the 1 year old still like tossing his food when he's "all done"). There are some real advantages to the white Roomba but things are tight right now and we thought we'd get by saving the extra $100. I'm not sure we made the right choice, but the red Roomba is adequate for doing the job we need it to do. And my wife is happy. Enough said. Posted by Greg Ransom | TrackBack
