THE LATEST on the recount mess in Washington. Democrat Christine Gregoire now leads by 10 votes -- with 700+ King county ballots with botched signatures yet to be counted. Yes, that's right, ballots once ruled out by election officials on the basis of suspect, missing or non-matching signatures have been ruled back in by the State Supreme Court.
