RICHARD POSNER doesn't much like Malcolm Gladwell's Blink : The Power of Thinking Without Thinking:
Blink is written like a book intended for people who do not read books.
Here's a book on the general topic -- "tacit" knowledge" -- I'd recommend:
Stephen Toulmin, Return to Reason
Toulmin studied with Ludwig Wittgenstein, and he was one of those who overthrew logical positivism in the philosophy of science. Kuhn, Polanyi, Popper, Hayek, Feyerabend and Hanson where others in the group. Posted by Greg Ransom | TrackBack
