THE COST of immigration to native born Americans comes to a net loss of
approximately
$140 billion per year. Those are dollar measured costs. When an illegal alien kills your husband and then flees across the border into Mexico where he is protected from prosecution, that cost never shows up in any economist's statistics. Ditto when you kid picks up TB from an an illegal serving burgers at the local McDonalds. Traffic. Urban crowding. Declining schools. Closed emergency rooms. Packed beaches. Lines for social services. Etc., etc. All outside the myopic vision of the money obsessed economist.
