HARVARD leads the way, but Sweden
gets there first -- the work of world-renowned neuroscientist Annica Dahlström on brain differences between the sexes has been ruled in violation of the scientific position of the Swedish government, which holds that sex differences are socially constructed. Governments in Sweden have insinuated their financial hands into the publishing business, and on that pretext they have ordered an interview with Dahlström removed from a pending publication on the grounds that her conclusions runs contrary to the scientific facts of gender as determined previously by the government.
The story reads to me like an urban legend of the Orwellian consequences of PC socialism metastasizing on the slippery slope to tyranny. But evidently the story is true. (via the Corner).
